I have a Dell with a Radeon Mobility that is happily running Ralf Nolden's
backport of X 4.3
from /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/kde stable main
deb http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/X11 stable main
deb http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/Printing stable main
You may be able to get away with only the middle line, but why not run kde 3.1
as well :-]

* Al Dykes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, 2003-04-04 18:33 -0500:
I'm setting to Debian on a laptop. It has a Radeon Mobility
video system that needs a late version of xfree86, at last
4.2.0. Can someone point me to the name of an apt package
and the server it's on. Thanks.
