Hi smurfd, TV Out is used for displaying your laptop's screen on a TV (for playing videos or doing a presentation or whatnot). V4L, BTTV, and XawTV, are for TV tuners, that let you watch TV on your computer. The Inspiron 1100 doesn't have a tuner (or at least, mine doesn't). -- Joe Wreschnig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
