The editor is taken from the environment variable VISUAL if defined, or EDITOR if VISUAL is notdefined, or defaults to "vi" if neither VISUAL nor EDITOR is defined. -----------------8<-------------- So make sure, that $VISUAL and $EDITOR are unset or set to the editor, you like.
