I have an ipw2200 as well, but since I already used it before there were Debian packages, I always used the vanilla source package. So, you should be able to get it to work one way or the other. > I found this: http://bughost.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=702, which > seems to be relevant. But how does one apply the patches? Have a look at 'man patch'. In general, if you're in the right directory, do 'patch -p1<somefile.diff'. I took a look at the bug you're quoting, and they say you should use -p2 instead of -p1. So, simply try it, and if you give the wrong parameter, it'll warn you. > Am I on the right track here? I think so. Getting the ipw2200 driver to work can be pretty tough, if you combine it with the kill switch, led, wpa, etc. If you have ipw2200-specific questions in the future, you should probably try the ipw2200 mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED] - no, the 2100 is not a typo!).
