I have a Dell Latitude D800, and I am not able to get my wireless card running. I have (lspci):
0000:02:03.0 Network controller: Intel CorporationPRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04) I am runing a testing/unstable debian with debian's 2.6.12-1-686 kernel (uname -a): Linux dhpc-5-42 2.6.12-1-686 #1 Tue Sep 27 12:52:50 JST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux I have build ieee80211 and ipw2100 modules from ieee80211-source and ipw2100-source debian packages using modules-assistant.The installation of these modules was very smooth. However when I try to load the ipw2100 module, I get the following (dmesg): ieee80211_crypt: unregistered algorithm 'NULL' (deinit) ieee80211_crypt: registered algorithm 'NULL' ieee80211: 802.11 data/management/control stack, 1.1.6 ieee80211: Copyright (C) 2004-2005 Intel Corporation <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ipw2100: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2100 Network Driver, 1.1.3 ipw2100: Copyright(c) 2003-2005 Intel Corporation ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:03.0[A] -> Link [LNKB] -> GSI 5 (level, low) -> IRQ 5 ipw2100Device not found via register read. I would much appreciate any help on this topic. Best regards, Tone -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
