Do you mean the scripts you can drop in /etc/apm/*.d ? The strange thing is that this problem doesn't happen with 2.6.12-1-686 kernels. I knew it worked sometime before 2.6.14, so yesterday I put etch in my sources.list, and installed 2.6.12-1-686: USB devices were suspended and resumed just out-of-the-box, without any additional scripts. > I use acpi with kernel 12.6.13.4 and have no such problem (suspend to memory > and disk). It works out-of-the-box or you had to code scripts ? Thanks, Rob, for taking the time to answer. I was beginning to get discouraged: I posted the problem on debian-user, in 3 different guises, but got no replies in a week.
