Hello everybody. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad z61m. It is one of those discontinued series, so I got it for less.
I run Debian Lenny on this and so far I'm happy with it. - But I have noticed that Flash applications in Firefox (Iceweasel) are slow and sometimes not loading. - And then I habe a big play button on each flash object, which I have to click fist before the slash elements are activated. This is somethings useful but it would be nice to know where I can deactivate this. - Also I must say that applications written in Java have some display problems. The application I mean is ZendStudio 5.5. With a connected power-supply it is less frequent but running on batteries sometimes the col with the numbers is messed up and not updating correctly. I had Gentoo before on this laptop and I those problems (java and flash slow) were no there. So it must be a configuration or optimization setting. I would be happy if someone could help or has any ideas about this. If you need some more Information, please ask.
