Hello, I would like to suggest trying out "grandr", which is a graphical front-end for xrandr. I have also used "arandr", which is another graphical front-end, but it seems it is not available yet on lenny.

Hi,
I've installed 'grandr' already during the upgrade.
That is the first '*randr' I have tried.
I might try reinstalling still it and some
of the other programs.
