On my laptop I'm very happy to be able to change the permissions of files
in /sys (which are quite similar to files in /proc, at least for what we
use them for).

Example, run at startup:
    chown root.me
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/drm/card0/card0-eDP-1/intel_backlight/brightness
    chmod g+w
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/drm/card0/card0-eDP-1/intel_backlight/brightness

Thanks to that I can change the brightness with a small script, without
being root or using awfully big and complicated SUID programs.
