I don't remember it exactly.
Certainly some others can remember it better.
I think that you have to start the installation with selecting the language,
the keyboard, etc. before you can see it.
To install grub must be one of the last things to do.

I tried to go through the Expert Install as you suggested however I did not see
any option to directly install grub. Can you tell me where this option is found?

Yes I can boot with a live CD. However I don't know what to do next. I have
seen posts on the internet about that however its not working. I can tell me
step by step what commands I need to type on the Live OS to solve the problem.

I have already disable secure boot. I have installed it several times turning
different options On and Off but still it does not work.

Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 7537 with UEFI and Windows 8.1 installed on it. I
have installed Debian 8 on it however I don't get Grub after installation. I
have also noticed that Grub did not install during installation.
When I turn ON the laptop, it boots to Windows and Grub does not appear. I have
tried to install by turning the Secure boot and fast startup off and I still
get the problem.
I know it is possible to install Debian 8 on this laptop because I once did it
and succeeded. However I forgot how I did it. I forgot what steps I took the
last time.
Please help me to solve this problem. I really need Debian.
With Kind Regards,
Dwijesh
