Having just upgraded my broadband connection so that 5G is now supported, how do I get Debian 8 to support it? My 7-year-old MacBook sees it, and connects... Is a firmware upgrade required or something?
I found this with "dmesg": [ 7.168029] ath: phy0: WB335 2-ANT card detected [ 7.168040] ath: phy0: Set BT/WLAN RX diversity capability [ 7.174831] ath: phy0: Enable LNA combining [ 7.175932] ath: EEPROM regdomain: 0x65 [ 7.175934] ath: EEPROM indicates we should expect a direct regpair map [ 7.175938] ath: Country alpha2 being used: 00 [ 7.175940] ath: Regpair used: 0x65 [ 7.410114] ieee80211 phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'minstrel_ht' [ 7.410812] ieee80211 phy0: Atheros AR9565 Rev:1 mem=0xffffc90004a00000, irq=36 Thanks. -- Dave Horsfall DTM (VK2KFU) "Those who don't understand security will suffer."
