Hello, I agree with Michael that it will be necessary to build up local/national sections of the debian lex project, as there are too many national differences and we will not be able to make a one-fits-all legal suite.
I'm also a german laywer and developer of "Canzeley", a little legal suite for german lawyers based on OpenOffice or LibreOffice and MySQL licenced under GPLV3 or any later (see canzeley.org ). I saw the problem Michael also recognized and focussed my work localizing it for german lawyers. Mechtilde, my wife, has started to package the client for Debian. But she is no DD and her sponsor is unfortunately very busy at present. Because Canzeley is simple it might be possible to develop other localizations.
