lintian.d.o is completely hosed for desktop files at the moment because it's still checking things other than Type=Application entries. The current unstable lintian should be much better. I guess I'll do yet another lintian upload. :) Sorry for being not as polite as I should be about this. The whole process of adding desktop checks has been very frustrating (for everyone, I think -- sorry to all the KDE people!), and I'm vaguely annoyed that I even did it, but that's not your fault!
