this is not yet fixed. Lintian seems to ignore overrides with extra info. Also, the documentation and the help message are still not consistent. lintian -i gives: <package>[ <type>]: <tag>[ <extra> ...] file:///usr/share/doc/lintian/lintian.html/ch2.html#s2.4 has: [<package>[ <type>]: ]<lintian-tag>[ <lintian-info>] So it is not clear whether the "package:" is optional.
