Package: lintian Version: 1.23.46 Severity: normal As of debhelper version 7, there is a dh utility that runs a bunch of debhelper commands in sequence. Use of this breaks various lintian tests that check for certian dh_ commands being in the rules file. You can probably just check for "^\tdh " and skip those tests if set.
dh also allows for a very simple generic rules file:
#!/usr/bin/make -f
%:
dh $@
This triggers lintian warnings for debian-rules-missing-required-target,
but with the above every policy-required target is present and working. :-)
