Yes, I checked first without patching, got the E: lines, then with the
patch and the errors were gone.

BTW, the patch didn't apply (1/3 hunk failed), I patched it in by
hand.
Oops; my fault. :-/ I copied and pasted the patch and managed to destroy the
tabs in the process. Sorry about that.
