A friend reminded me about this today and I realised I'd been remiss in not updating Lintian together with the policy commit. I suspect that this will have a few false positives in cases where people ship the directory in the .deb *and* create it in the init script, but frankly I think that's a silly thing to do anyway. Should I bump the severity to serious, since it's a "must" in forthcoming policy?
