Predictably enough, there are no hits for it on lintian.d.o, so renamed. I've just spotted a use of "section" that might not be quite so easy to change, however, namely the --section command line option. We could add a --area option and make --section a synonym for it, or bite the bullet and rename the option, possibly adding a NEWS.Debian file to alert anyone who might have been using the current option.
