Package: lintian Version: have errors in .desktop files point to desktop-file-validate Severity: wishlist
We were not aware of the desktop-file-validate tool int he desktop-file-utils package. The error message of an invalid category was not solvable by looking up the specs, but only by finding that blank after the officially terminating semicolon.
