Some makefiles call install-info which creates a usr/share/info/dir file.
This file is to be updated at package installation, so it shouldn't be
present in the binary package. Actually lintian reports it as an
info-document-missing-dir-section warning which is not relevant. A

Yeah, a check for this went into 2.2.13. The version of Lintian in
unstable should do what you want.
