The error occurs when checking a .changes file referencing one or more files which don't exist, so the easiest solution is not to do that. :-) Alternatively, add "use Lintian::Output;" to /usr/share/lintian/lib/Lintian/Schedule.pm It's been longer than I remembered since I fixed this in lintian's git repository, so we should probably make a new release soon as well.
