Hey, Obviously - I should have checked the versions. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your exact problem with 2.5.0~rc1; I consistently get the warning as expected. I used debuild in a chroot with lintian installed and I used "-us -uc - -tc", but I cannot imagine it would affect the results.
