Hey As you probably have noticed by now, I have uploaded Lintain 2.5.0~rc2 to sid. I will do a backport in a couple of days (probably Thursday or Friday) along with sending a mail to the FTP people with the changed tags. The last sentence is as much information for you as it is a self-reminder. :) I suspect that ~rc3 will have a fairly short release cycle too, as I expect a bug/patch from vorlon soonish about some multi-arch stuff. For ~rc3 I plan to fix #618587 and the uninitialized variables mentioned in #621006 (but not the bug itself - as I recall Jakub Wilk recommended a tag for using substs vars in the Source part of d/control). Also, depending on the speed of fourmond and the outcome of #600829, I might include that as well. Furthermore, I intend to merge infra-513663 into the master branch and solve #513663, #120323 (and its merges) plus #217023. Of the three bugs the first two are already fixed in the branch and the last is partly fixed as well. At the head of the infra-513663 branch there are no regressions in tests and it has often been updated by merges from master, so all in all I suspect the merge will go painlessly. I have the feeling that quite a few of us are quite busy; so I am going to wait with merging infra-513663 into master until Tuesday next week. This should give you the weekend to go review branch one last time if you have not had time to do so. I think that should about cover my vision for ~rc3. ~Niels -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJNm44VAAoJEAVLu599gGRCqSgP/2T9xZACXcns6U3o6OT/yPun q7Bn4h+/+skr4iS1qFu8mT9sRE8eVv2+B9Hpf7QFRFRxUnFXcQhZM+R+jVojc/Gy V5AND/r58MKPkCWrPAFfZfLL1J/aKgM6bISdJ9ohaHV68UhOFWAGjMkDrr/UiyGM aQgr0YmFHjPMAu7d6zB2/mpGJoHd9dlKWTy9IgTN9sgrm1N+9AkXDyFtcBQcCFFx 9wghhQLb6dlH8/6PEbxxz3tRUU0yqb0TUqslOC0/Tfb+5y3BiXBH0yXsLVlS8VFT q0trWgk8WfYqrNcHXDwBaPzi3SDZFRjJFRQUJ85ShIiiHL4ueUWovYDCmZdwcwnO VzCYwWDeZ2OPXs8dXEZFI+zP/JUMM6yQHtFlZl5HwEC5pacXeyoJ3xf6iCvtfrPf 7B/4vUWj0tb0DwQq5hGqri+/Y82PkaOiszuGBtKS+E3xj9nyiS8EEBRC7j2qaowP zwtOq7bevfbYTggPJcmspkITKwobSpKrYRDCtCVvbJfUx+HkS2vmzI5MaeIeKxLb bdBQ0fOMZYNO3/VC+nKIyMWYXvTZ2Pdo1TUbSyF73PswIG85O/Z7G915SXHIIgRM kOyMfi29MySIwe5PAAp7tZUSfsqtwbEb8C1kJsdgPEqPtGlPbCKHuvLh/Fub1MRu SfUB9k/LqbDQA1xb058S =gXmH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
