Currently python-script-but-no-python-dep has such a paragrahp:
If you are using debhelper, adding ${python:Depends} to the
Depends field and
ensuring dh_pysupport or dh_pycentral are run during the build
should take care
of adding the correct dependency.
It might need to be updated in favor of the dh_python2 change.
