Package: lintian Version: 2.5.11ubuntu1 Severity: normal Hi! Could you please update the lintian checks for desktop files to follow the latest version of the XDG Menu spec? Especially that "Science" is not recognised as allowed main category causes lintian false-positives at time. So, could you please add "Science" as main category? See # http://specifications.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/menu-spec-latest.html #category-registry for details. This change is implemented in recent KDE and GNOME releases. The spec was touched in July 2012 to make this change. (and there are possibly others, but so far I see nothing else which affects lintian) Kind regards, Matthias
