More info for #701231. cmake from sid (2.8.11-2 and above ?), now defines CMAKE_C_FLAGS_RELWITHDEBINFO as -O2 -g -DNDEBUG.
So for cmake users, you should either not defines CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE or set it to Debug.
