Package: lintian Version: 2.5.14 Severity: wishlist Control: block -1 with 629247
It's a common mistake the set the LANG environment variable to "C" with the intention to reset locale settings. LC_ALL, which overrides LANG and other LC_*, should be used for this purpose instead. It would be nice if Lintian could warn against use of LANG=C.
