For a package I'm updating, lintian reported me about a non-FHS and a
non-standard path.
W: sysprof: non-standard-dir-in-usr usr/libexec/
W: sysprof: file-in-unusual-dir usr/libexec/sysprof/sysprofd
Lintian is right. Policy §9.9.1 says that “all files and directories
must comply with the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS), version 2.3”
(with some exceptions), and this version of FHS doesn't include
/usr/libexec.
But with FHS 3.0, /usr/libexec/ is a recognized path. And lintian
should be aware of it.
We'll update Lintian after FHS 3.0 is adopted by Policy.
