--- Begin Message ---Package: lintian Version: 2.93.0 Severity: normal Hello, I just updated to lintian 2.93.0 (from 2.82.0) and found that lintian-info isn't working any more as before: $ lintian-info -t systemd-service-file-missing-install-key Unknown option: t error parsing options The changelog for 2.92.0 has: * Split bin/lintian-info into separate annotate-lintian-hints and explain-lintian-tags. Obviously this was an API-changer. :-\ Maybe lintian-info can be made a wrapper around the two new commands with a compatible API or if this isn't considered sensible it can better be removed. --- Begin Message ---Since this bug is 5+ years old at this point with 2 debian releases in between; and pretty much everyone has moved to just using lintian-explain-tags, I feel this bug can be closed. I am going ahead to do so. There's no point in making this wrapper again after such a long time. Feel free to reopen if you disagree. > > lintian-info isn't working any more as before: > > The name was changed to lintian-explain-tags. [1] Please use that instead. > > As a bonus, you now get all tags when none are specified. Thanks!
