Like I said, the 2.6.21 might have problems with squashfs (IIRC).

I'm not sure if this is wrong, but I had to work around it too (since we used make-kpkg --append-to-version). Just name your kernel something else and/or use lh_config --linux-flavours such that the wildcard matches something.
