According to the debian wiki[0] it needs the uvcvideo driver. It
should have a driver already available inside debian. The Acer One
ships with a linux distro (Linpus Lite) and the 'Integrated Acer®
Crystal Eye webcam' works with that. Linpus a fedora based distro.

It shouldn't be too hard to add the ucvcvideo driver should it? I
will look into how that works with debian-live. Maybe an opportunity
for documentation and testing? :)

Cool, sounds like I might be able to help a bit. I have already
looked at the Todo will see if there is something there I can help
with.
