Hello, I have asked this question quite a while ago: How do I keep kernel and module files out of the main squashfs? For the longest time, the answer I got back then worked very nicely for me - a config/binary_rootfs/excludes that looks like this:
------- /initrd.img* /vmlinuz* /boot/* ------- In recent versions of live-helper (I am using 1.0.5+20091101), this doesn't seem to work any more. The contents of said file are actually deleted from the chroot, which interferes with lh_binary_linux-image. Is there any other relatively simple way to keep the kernel out of the live file system?
