I dd'd binary.img ( 2009-12-31) to my pendrive and then following the instructions at http://live.debian.net/manual/html/persistence.html created a second partition labeled live-rw.
When I just hit enter at the boot screen then Debian EeePC Live boots fine but if I add the boot parameter 'persistent' then I get this error message: This Debian Live image failed to boot. [Snip] Can not mount /dev/sda4 /live-rw-backing, fstype=vfat, options-rw This is the partition table on my EEE PC 900: /dev/sda1: SYSTEM /dev/sda2: USER /dev/sda3: BIOS /dev/sda4: 8 MB EFI (FAT-12/16/32) partition /dev/sdb1: HOME /dev/sdc1: DEBIAN_LIVE /dev/sdc2: live-rw Regards, Ariszló -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
