Hello I am not sure if this has already been mentioned, I have searched the list archive but I could not find anything relative, so here goes...
There has been a change to Syslinux 3.85 (now in squeeze & sid) with regards to way it handles background images: > vesamenu.c32: if the image is smaller than the screen, tile it across the > whole screen. This seems to affect the default Debian splash image found at 'live-helper/templates/syslinux/menu/splash.png', which now tiles vertically and looks, erm, wrong. The Debian splash.png is sized at 640X320px. I am not entirely sure about this, but I think changing it to 640x480px should fix the issue? -- Philip [1]: http://syslinux.zytor.com/wiki/index.php/Changelog#Changes_in_3.85 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
