Hello, I've build an debian live usb image based off of sid. Using live-initramfs 1.173.3-1 and live-helper 2.0~a8-1. I notice that when I boot the image off of the usb stick, that the /live/image partition on /dev/sda1 is mounted rw.
/dev/sda1 on /live/image type vfat (rw,relatime,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=utf8,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro) Does /live/image ever get written to? Why is it mounted rw? I'm using snapshot persistence on another partition on the usb-stick. Basically I'd like to make sure that the usb-stick is not getting written to unless I ask it to with live-snapshot or a reboot, this way ensuring the usb stick has a long lifetime. -- Romeo Theriault
