Well, I tried, but I couldn't get it to run from the CD on either my laptop or my desktop. That is hard to interpret, since the internal CD drives are failing on both. I can't boot from my external drive, and neither BIOS supports booting from USB.
I'm running 5.03 from the hard drive using grub4dos, and would prefer not to replace it with an alpha version. Wish I could be more helpful.
