the images are bootable, they just not configure themself correctly. anyhow.. it's a wontfix issue, since in live-initramfs 2.x (which I've began to work in git already, and where i'm uploading the first alpha version to unstable in a couple of days), this problem is not present anymore anyway, and when using 1.236.*-1 on lenny, there's no problem. or in other words: you hit a temporary bug in unstable, be patient, it will go away really soon now.
