Hello, I've tried to make an usb-stick. Booting works fine, but when I choose "live" then I get the error "invalid or corrupt kernel image".
This is the image what I've used (date: 6-2-2011): http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/release/current-live/i386/usb-hdd/debian-live-6.0.0-i386-gnome-desktop.img Qemu can boot without a problem with the image. On this way I've created the stick: dd if=debian-live-6.0.0-i386-gnome-desktop.img of=/dev/sdc Is here somebody with an idea what's wrong? With regards, Paul van der Vlis. BTW; In the "readme.txt" on the USB-stick I see this: Debian GNU/Linux squeeze-di-rc2 "Squeeze" - Official Snapshot i386 I wonder about that "rc2". -- http://www.vandervlis.nl/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
