While there might be some code regarding "nonetworking" lingering in the live-boot sources, the option does not work as expected in squeeze. I just started the latest KDE image, pressed TAB in the syslinux splashscreen, appended the "nonetworking" boot option, booted the system but still could connect to any LAN and WLAN without problems.
