I have found out what the problem was, I was actually PXE booting on an ISO image of Debian Live which was made to be burnt to a CD so actually it booted but didn't auto-login. I am now using the correct Debian Live network files and it works like a charm.
Many thanks for you guys, you are simplyfying my life for disaster recovery! ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben Armstrong <[email protected]> To: ML mail <[email protected]> Cc: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 17, 2011 6:47 PM Subject: Re: Live 6.0.2 rescue login/password On 10/17/2011 01:38 PM, ML mail wrote: > I am in the process of creating a PXE server which boots the Debian 6.0.2 > LiveCD (rescue version) through the network using NFS.
