Okay, it seems that if I use the two options "persistent" and
"persistent-read-only" together, I can see the file in "/opt/stuff"!
Unfortunately I can't *do* anything with it, because sudo fails with a
message about not being able to read /etc/sudoers (permission denied).

So is there a better approach to what I'm trying to do here?
