To be honest, in every single message in this thread you have typoed the path to the preferences file, and that was so distracting to me that I didn't even notice you had ignored the documentation that says it is config/apt/preferences and instead used config/chroot_apt. You can save us all a lot of time by doing that. In this case, the documentation said exactly where the file belongs, which you failed to follow. 2.
