This is just a fyi regarding directory permissions for the working
directory.  Make sure that the working directory has read permissions set
for both group and other (not a umask of 077).  If you don't then all the
configuration files you have in "config/includes.chroot" (such as
/etc/skel or lib/live/config) will not have the proper permissions set and
the image will fail to boot correctly.
