I have an image built using live-build 3.0.5, xfce DE. From the boot screen I have 2 install options (text/graphical). Using either of these options the hostname displayed in the d-i is "debian".
However, when I start the installer from the the desktop link or menu item in the live session the hostname is correctly displayed. I have tried setting the hostname in the preseed file but that doesn't work either. Why does it work from the live session and not also from the boot screen?
