I use a similar package-lists line for XFCE. In your case, add a line:

task-lxde-desktop

to a file:

config/package-lists/custom.list.chroot

List files with names ending in ".list.chroot" are used determine packages included in the live image (the chroot stage), as opposed to packages to be installed (the binary stage). The "custom" part is arbitrary and you can change this or have many files. See:
