Hi debian-lsb, I have added a bunch of bugs to the LSB bug tracking page at,
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/lsb.cgi First, Chris Yeoh found some problems with PAM. They're not causing test failures but only because those tests aren't in the test suite yet. They most likely will be for LSB 2.0. #220157 libpam0g: pam_strerror implementation/documentation inconsistency http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=220157 #220158 libpam0g: deadlock with pam_unix and pam_chauthtok http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=220158 Tobias Burnus has filed a ton of LSB bugs over the last year. I added as many as I could find including the ones that are already closed(for historical reasons). These aren't causing test failures but are still LSB bugs so we need to track them. They are mostly SUSv3/POSIX/FHS issues. Here are some that are still open. #156489 util-linux: [hwclock] adjtime should be moved to /var/lib/hwclock/ (FHS 2.2) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=156489 #205302 at: should support -r besides -d (SUSv3 requirement) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205302 #205523 at: postinst - use chmod with ':' not with '.' http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205523 #205525 dqs: postinst's chown should use ':' not '.' http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205525 #205529 makedev: Use chown with ':' not with '.' http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205529 #205532 tcpd: use chown with ':' not with '.' http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205532 #205545 autofs: Uses tail +2 instead of tail -n +2 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205545 #208375 nis: Use tail -n +2 not tail +2 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=208375 #212434 [PROPOSED] recommend FHS 2.2 rather than 2.1 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=212434 #213262 util-linux: [hwclock] hwclock should be moved to /usr/sbin (FHS 2.2) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=213262 I added all the numbers for closed bugs against the lsb package for historical reasons. If anyone knows of other LSB related bugs please point them out. Thanks, -- Matt Taggart [EMAIL PROTECTED]
