gcc 4.0

Would the  libc, libstdc++ LSB packaging work around also apply to 
gcc4.0 for Debian Sarge? Sarge currently contains gcc 3.3 and I believe 
we need at least gcc 3.4 to be LSB 3.0 compliant, correct?
