I have prepared a security update to tiff and uploaded it to <https://people.debian.org/~benh/packages/squeeze-lts/>. However it has a limited test suite and I don't know what would be a good way to test for regressions.
(I did check that this version doesn't have bug #783555.) Any ad-hoc testing with the specific applications that people use libtiff in would be appreciated.
