Just for the records, the issue has been solved with libxml2 version 
2.7.8.dfsg-2+squeeze14.
If you tried to install version +squeeze13 and are hit by the 
unknown-trigger-contents, just do an
  apt-get update; apt-get -f install
and everything should be fine.
