Subject: netbase: missing acr-nema (DICOM) port in /etc/services
Date: Tue, 07 Dec 2004 00:36:22 +0100
To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
X-Mailer: reportbug 2.63
Package: netbase
Version: 4.19
Severity: wishlist
Port 104, the standard DICOM ("Digital Imaging and Communications
in Medicine", formerly ACR-NEMA) network services port is missing
from /etc/services.
Port 104 has been assigned by the IANA as a "well known port number"
for ACR-NEMA/DICOM network services. Inclusion in /etc/services
is highly desirable for upcoming DICOM applications in Debian.
Thank you in advance.
Regards - Juergen
